Combat Kempo

I wish to sincerely thank the following individuals and organizations.To the late Kyoshi Tom Slaven of Kempo Karate and Zen Chi Ry, who with his visionary combat skills and insight showed me the incredible fighting power of Nippon and Chinese Kempo. Thanks also to Professor Tom Sotis founder of Amok! Combative Knife Methodology and the International  Blade Fighters Guild, for his generosity in imparting his some of his vast combat knowledge particularly in all things with a sharp edge and a point.

His abilities as a performer and educator as well as his profound sense of humour and friendship, are highly valued. I especially wish to thank my dedicated students Aaron DeSousa and Suyama Bodhinayake for their friendship, loyalty and dedication and their many years of hard training. Finally I would like to acknowledge the many friends of Combat Kempo as well as wishing the many students and instructors that Tom Slaven had a hand in shaping that are still out there all the best in their training.
